The Algonquin, known for attracting the cultural elite and for pouring the perfect martini might just be the place to pop the question. The Grey Goose $10,000 martini comes with a one-of-a-kind diamond ring. The hotel arranges for the fiancé-to-be to meet with a private jeweler to determine the stone size, number of stones and setting. Then it's on to the martini shaking and proposal making. A white-gloved waiter serves the cocktail on a silver platter in the hotel's famous Blue Bar. Surely, the "I dos" will take care of themselves.
